Inspired by our passion for deep powder days in the mountains, DEUS POWDER TOOLS emerged from Japan’s DEUS chapter. With abundant snowfall in the country’s mountainous regions, winter conditions are a way of life for many here. The ‘SnowSurf’ subculture has thrived in Japan for decades, where enthusiasts have pioneered hand-shaped edgeless snow craft. Deus Powdertools snowboards blend these innovative tail and nose designs with cutting-edge technology and premium materials for exceptional carving, superior floatation, and smooth gliding performance.
While these distinctive boards appear crafted for deep powder, their alternative shapes deliver outstanding performance on groomed runs as well as in fresh snow conditions.
What began six years ago as a collaborative design experiment with renowned surfboard builder Takuya ‘Tappy’ Yoshikawa has evolved into an extension of Deus’ ‘Culture of Creativity’ in Japan.
Naturally progressing from mountain commutes came the vision for a “Metro to Mountain” apparel collection designed for winter adventures. Staying warm in cold weather is essential, while maintaining urban style ensures you’re prepared for any destination.
