Inspired by our passion for deep powder days in the mountains, DEUS POWDER TOOLS emerged from Japan’s DEUS chapter. With consistent snowfall across Japan’s mountainous regions, winter conditions are a way of life for many residents. The ‘SnowSurf’ subculture has decades of history in Japan, where enthusiasts have long experimented with hand-shaped edgeless snow equipment. Deus Powdertools snowboards combine these innovative nose and tail designs with advanced technology and premium materials to deliver… effortless carving, superior floatation, and smooth-gliding performance.
While these distinctive board shapes appear tailored for deep powder, they’re engineered to excel on groomed runs as well as backcountry conditions.
What began six years ago as a collaborative design experiment with master surfboard builder Takuya ‘Tappy’ Yoshikawa has evolved into an extension of Deus’ ‘Culture of Creativity’ in Japan.
Naturally, commuting to snowy peaks inspired the creation of a “Metro to Mountain” apparel collection for these winter journeys. Dressing for cold weather makes practical sense, while maintaining urban style ensures you’re prepared for city life too.
