DEUS EX MACHINA presents Deus Powdertools Alternative Snowcraft. Inspired by our passion for deep powder days in the mountains, DEUS POWDER TOOLS emerged from Japan’s DEUS chapter. With heavy snowfall common in Japan’s mountain regions, winter conditions are a way of life for many. The ‘SnowSurf’ subculture has thrived in Japan for decades, where enthusiasts have perfected hand-shaped edgeless snow craft. Deus Powdertools snowboards combine innovative tail and nose designs with cutting-edge technology and premium materials for exceptional carving, superior floatation, and smooth gliding performance.
While these unique board shapes appear designed specifically for powder, they deliver outstanding performance on groomed runs as well as in deep snow conditions.
What began six years ago as a design collaboration with renowned surfboard builder Takuya ‘Tappy’ Yoshikawa has evolved into an extension of Deus’ ‘Culture of Creativity’ in Japan.
Naturally, our mountain commutes inspired a complete “Metro to Mountain” apparel collection designed for winter adventures. Staying warm in cold weather is essential, but looking sharp in urban settings matters too – this collection delivers both performance and style.
